Making Cards / Re: Normal printing quantities?
« on: September 11, 2017, 12:09:21 am »
If you're just printing cards for yourself, you should have an idea of how many to print. You can just fill whatever print sheet space left with extra sketch cards or something.

We usually have multiple Kefentse staff members at each con handing out promos at cons, so you shouldn't really need to worry about printing extras to give out. If you do, a pack of 54 is usually plenty for smaller cons if you're just handing them out as you go and aren't like a vendor or anything. Like you said, any extra you could give to staff or bring to another con.

There's a Sailor Moon card in the set, of course. I did have a Pretty Sammy and PSG card planned, but they got cut. I recently just thought of another PSG card that's good enough I might add one more card to the set for it. (PSG totally counts btw.)

These are likely oversights on Sweet Cream's part and either oversights or unfamiliarity with the game on the part of the Fan Pon cards. Considering the wide variety of mistakes and wordings in Fan Pon, I'm under the impression each card was designed by the creator of the character on the card, which would explain that. Now that we're posting articles on card anatomy and design, we're hoping those articles will lessen these kinds of issues in the future.

Glad you like them! I'm a huge magical girl fan personally, and tried to cover most of the well known ones. Madoka's an extremely influential and popular show in the genre, so there is one Madoka card in the set as a Goal. I'm actually making a separate mini-pack just for Madoka, but you'll see that later. The naming schemes and mechanics are super great, trust me.

Sounds like the Shipwrecker keyword is the extraneous keyword there. It's not really an inherent trait of the character, and could be retroactively applied to a lot of characters, which could get confusing. I also don't think it's the kind of keyword others would ever adopt.

Which fan cards were you talking about with respect to keywords? If any happen to be mine, I can comment on those or speculate on others.
