Title: Storage/Sleeves?
Post by: Lord LunaEquie is me on October 25, 2016, 12:49:08 pm
I'm kind of new to the whole board gaming thing — at least as much as the next kid that was raised on Monopoly, Uno, Sorry, etc. — and while I've gone from TCG to TCG over the years, I've treated my cards well enough that I've never felt the need for protecting them.

However, now that I've grabbed several limited-print cards as well as some autographed ones (I practically want to frame my Sir McBiggun), in addition to something Ithry pointed out to me regarding the difference in size of metric vs. standard cards, I realize I need something a bit more than the little cardboard box I have them in right now.

So, does anyone have any advice for card sleeves or storage? Any particular brands or styles I should look for or avoid? How do other people like to store their cards?

Well, yeah, but I was under the impression that these boxes weren't large enough for 500+ cards. I'll admit I didn't look really closely how big those big boxes were, though.

Also I have no experience with car sleeves, and I feel those might be a priority, especially considering some of the limited ones I picked up (Orchard Blossom in particular) were already little worn when I picked them up.

1000+ count long boxes you can pick up at your local card shop, gaming store, or Amazon. This is what I use and it works fine. As for sleeves any high quality ones like Dragon Shield, Ultra Pro, or KMC HyperMattes are fine.
